Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year. I love the food, feasting and family gathering. I love the preparations – shopping, cutting, chopping, brining, basting, baking, roasting, buttering, carving, serving. I love the name of the holiday itself -
Thanks Giving
With our hectic lives, its easy to forget that there is so much to be thankful for everyday. As you turn inward, letting go of obligations and work to be with family and those you love, take a quick moment to jot down 10 things you are thankful for everyday.
10 Things I’m Grateful For Everyday
- Being Alive Now – we live in exciting times. I’m thrilled to be here now, sharing the planet with other amazing souls and brilliant minds. Its exhilarating to stand on the shoulders of those who came before and to continue their work.
- Sunshine – we are nature. We are as integral and important as the sun, moon, stars, rivers, oceans, trees, sky, right down to the smallest worm or microbe. I’m grateful to be nourished and embraced by the Earth’s womb.
- My Husband – I am the Kombucha Mamma, but this place would not exist without him. From ideas to design to all the late nights building this resource for the world, he works his tail off for me so I can reach as many people as possible.
- You – being a loner is lonely. Humans are social creatures that derive immense pleasure from the relationships they build with others. I am grateful to be able to share my life in so many small ways with a large number of people.
- Forgiveness – Mine for others and others for me.
- My Dog – Innocent, intelligent and overflowing with love, she gives us so much and asks for so little.
- Peace – Despite all the hardships, we do not face violence outside our doors, an incredible emotional burden that we thankfully cannot appreciate. May it continue indefinitely.
- Yoga – My meditative practice is my opportunity to grow and invest in my spiritual self.
- Getting Older & Wiser – As I age, my daily actions dovetail more exactly with my desired ideals and beliefs. I am nowhere near perfect, but I’m getting better all the time and that process is very fulfilling.
- The Future – Who knows what’s coming, but I believe we can make it amazing with hard work and the right outlook.

Thank you Kombucha Moma! I’m so thankful for you and your Kombucha Wisdom!
