What is Kombucha?
A naturally fermented beverage usually made with black tea (or a blend of teas including black), sugar, and a Kombucha SCOBY with starter liquid.

What is starter liquid?
Well fermented Kombucha removed from the top of the previous batch. After adding a SCOBY to sweet tea, the starter liquid is poured in last to help prevent mold. Strong starter liquid is just as important as the SCOBY.
Why drink Kombucha?
