What is JUN?
JUN is uniquely adapted to thrive on green tea and RAW honey. It offers a lighter, floral flavor compared to Kombucha, brews for a shorter time, and can be very carbonated. Kombucha cannot be made with raw honey.
Can JUN be made with regular honey?
Regular honey does not contain the live bacteria and yeast the JUN likes to cohabitate with. Some claim success with pasteurized honey, but all our experiments have been foul messes. We recommend RAW HONEY ONLY.
Why drink JUN?
JUN is a blend of bacteria, depending on what is in the raw honey, somewhere between Kombucha and Kefir. Aside from those who prefer the flavor, many brew JUN as well for additional bacterial and yeast variety.
