Ingredients:
For the Tea:
- 1 tsp Chai Spice
 - ½ tsp minced turmeric root (or ¼ tsp powdered)
 - ½ tsp cinnamon bark
 - 1 cup fresh milk kefir
 - 1 tbsp brown sugar + ¼ tsp ground cinnamon (Optional: to rim the glass)
 - raw honey (to taste – we used 1 tbsp.)

Instructions:
- Add Chai Spice, minced turmeric root, and cinnamon bark to your tea ball or a reusable cloth tea bag and steep a STRONG chai for 5-10 minutes.
 - Optional: Add brown sugar and ground cinnamon to a shallow dish and mix to combine. Dip the rim of your serving glass in honey and then swirl around in the brown sugar/cinnamon mixture to rim.
 - While your tea is steeping, add your milk kefir and raw honey to a glass along with a pinch of cinnamon or pumpkin spice, if desired. (Tip: If honey is crystallized, warm gently over hot water to liquefy before adding to milk kefir.)
 - Use a milk frother or a whisk to combine the milk kefir, honey, and spices until a thick, sweet, creamy foam is formed.
 - Add 2-3 ice cubes.
 - Pour slightly cooled, strong chai tea carefully into the iced kefir mixture and stir to combine
 - Top with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon or pumpkin spice and serve immediately.
